Most of the conversations I had with the members of the clergy, the more I came to understand that the use of a variety of tools to help fill the wells and to increase their spirituality - including reading books, attending retreats, and writing in jouals. The books are probably the most important source of inspiration for members of the clergy. Besides the Bible, a pastor often uses the writings of two great books written by theologians and authors who now discuss the human condition and the means by which we can find comfort and consolation. Biblical references might give a pastor of the foundation of his sermons, books, but by psychologists, sociologists, and Christian can inspire the authors to improve their sermons with the material that is relevant to the lives of his congregation. Spiritual challenges of today the members of the Church - are just entering college or just entering retirement - may have roots in ancient times, but may be affected by the complexity inherent in our culture of globalization. Writing is often a wonderful resource for people - be they priests or lay people - who are their spiritual sources are running low. I spoke with people who use jouals to reflect on verses of the Bible, and that the writing on the meaning of a particular passage again in contact with your spiritual heart. Some write their stories of spiritual awakenings, and in tu inspire others to come to God for clarity and vision. Others use writing as a way of revealing themselves as the hand of God at work in their daily lives. On the day thinking and understanding of the points that have influenced the choice of faith, we can understand how God offers to enrich their lives. Reading books and writing are only two ways to maintain the spiritual and full of hope and goodwill. However, both ways to lead a full life and be able to communicate with others on the road.
